As your dentist, it is our responsibility to be thorough in our initial oral examination and diagnosis. From here, you and Dr, Hawkins can mutually develop a lifetime plan for optimal oral health and esthetics. Your initial examination will include private time with Dr. Hawkins to discuss your concerns and desires for your oral health. The clinical exam will include x-rays, a tooth by tooth exam, a video tour of the teeth and examination of the gums and your bite. This data allows us to have a very complete picture of your current situation which Dr. Hawkins can study, interpret and develop a Master plan that addresses your concerns and those found during the exam. It becomes a permanent part of your record and provides a point of comparison for future evaluations as we monitor your oral health through the years. Dr. Hawkins can easily share this information with specialists who may need to be involved with your care. This comprehensive team approach gives you your best chance for keeping your teeth in optimal health, function and esthetics for a lifetime.
