Hygienst - Laury Beth Huff
Laury Beth has been in dentistry for 25 years, first as an assistant, then as a hygienist since 1988. She currently splits her time between Galveston, where her husband, Joe is the Executive Director of the Galveston College Foundation and their apartment on the mainland. She has two sons, Jay and Preston, and a daughter, Annie.
Laury Beth has been a member of Rotary International since 1998, is a Paul Harris Fellow and has served as International Director, Membership Director and Community Director for the Rotary Club of Galveston Island. Laury Beth served as the Director of the Texas City Rotary Clubs committee to aid the victims of Hurricane Ike. She is a graduate of Leadership Galveston, Past President of the Family Service Center of Galveston County's Board of Directors and is the primary speaker for the 1900 Storm Speakers Bureau and can be seen as a primary narrator on the History Channel Documentary “Isaac's Storm”.
